VT Cyber, as part of the WaMa EDIH project, offers the Cyber.Lab service to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)

The WaMa EDIH project is a European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of SMEs through digital transformation. The primary objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness of Polish local companies (with particular emphasis on SMEs located in the Warmian-Masurian and Masovian voivodeships) and improve the quality of business services by elevating the level of digital transformation, taking into account sustainable development and energy efficiency.

The specific objectives of the project include:
  • Objective 1 – Stimulating the growth of digital maturity for SMEs, particularly in the sectors of Robotics, EdTech, SmartCity, IoT, and AgriTech. Based on an accurate diagnosis of needs derived from a digital maturity assessment, each beneficiary (grant recipient) will receive an individualized collaboration pathway in the areas of developing and implementing AI technologies, Cybersecurity, Advanced Digital Skills, Digital Services Infrastructure, and HPC.
  • Objective 2 – Creating a digital innovation ecosystem through collaboration with other EDIHs, local Enterprise Europe Network centers, clusters, organizations supporting innovative entrepreneurship, and local authorities, as well as by facilitating partnerships between companies.
  • Objective 3 – Enhancing market maturity, increasing market and sector innovation potential through activities that improve the utilization of European funds and all available financial instruments.
  • Objective 4 – Raising companies’ awareness regarding Twin Transition – simultaneous digital and green transformation.

The project is coordinated by the Foundation for the Coalition for Polish Innovations, which also serves as the leader of a consortium comprising leading key business environment institutions, research units, technology champions, legal advisory firms, capital and business consulting companies, implementing the WaMa EDIH project with the support of two EEN network centers.

WaMa EDIH operates as a one-stop shop, offering a suite of services that enable EDIH clients to integrate into an innovative digital ecosystem, enhance and develop their competencies, explore and test the best innovative technologies thanks to the consortium’s access to technology and R&D facilities, and ultimately secure funding for their implementation and further development. WaMa EDIH does not compete with commercial entities operating in the field of digitalization but supports technological evangelization processes, animates the environment, and actively builds the ecosystem.

The WaMa Innovation Hub / WaMa EDIH project is implemented in connection with and under the Digital Europe Programme (DEP Regulation, EU Financial Regulation 2018/1046) and the European Funds for a Modern Economy, Priority: Innovation-Friendly Environment, Action: EDIH, call number: FENG.02.22-IP.02-001/23.

As part of the WaMa EDIH project, VT Cyber offers SMEs the Cyber.Lab service, consisting of the following elements::
  1. Inventory and preliminary audit of the company’s IT system security measures, concluded with an initial report,
  2. Installation of software from a leading global manufacturer dedicated to protecting IT infrastructure (computers and servers within the company),
  3. Continuous 24/7 monitoring of the company’s IT infrastructure by the SOC (Security Operations Center) team, based on the installed software,
  4. Detection and mitigation of potential threats and security incidents over a period of 3 to 4 months (depending on needs, threat levels, and the number of incidents),
  5. Preparation of a final report on the service process, indicating identified vulnerabilities, the most common types and vectors of attacks, along with recommendations for modifying security measures to enhance digital maturity in the field of cybersecurity.
